India will face England in the fourth Test of the ongoing five-match series at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester from July 23.
England are ahead 2-1, and this is a do-or-die game for India. If they lose here, the final Test at The Oval will not matter in the series result. England won the third Test at Lord’s by 22 runs to take the lead. They had also started the series with a win at Headingley but India made a comeback and registered a 336-run victory at Edgbaston.
India are battling several injury concerns. Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the series due to a knee injury. Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep are also unavailable for the fourth Test.
Anshul Kamboj, recently added to the squad, could make his Test debut in place of Akash Deep. Shardul Thakur is likely to return to replace Reddy.
There’s a boost as well. Jasprit Bumrah is fit and available. This will be his third Test of the series after he missed the second one at Edgbaston. Initially, he was expected to play only three matches in this series but the situation has pushed the team to use him at Lord's.
England have made just one change. Liam Dawson comes in for Shoaib Bashir, who got injured during the Lord’s Test. This will be Dawson’s first Test in eight years.

Weather could play a big role in this Test with rain expected over the next few days. The conditions are likely to help fast-bowlers more than spinners, which is often the case at Old Trafford.
