The second Test match of the ongoing series between South Africa and Zimbabwe will begin on July 6 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
With a 1-0 lead in the series, the Proteas will be aiming for a clean-sweep.
South Africa completely outplayed Zimbabwe in the first Test and registered a 328-run win. The visitors were clinical with the bat. Lhuan-dre Pretorius smashed a hundred on his Test debut. Wiaan Mulder also completed a century in the second innings.
Mulder will take over the captaincy in the absence of Keshav Maharaj, who misses out due to injury.
Despite the defeat, there were a few positives for Zimbabwe such as Sean Williams’ gritty century in the first innings, which stood out in an otherwise below-par team performance.
