The ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium is a sports venue located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It was built in 2003 and became one of the main cricket grounds in the state. The stadium hosted its first ODI in 2005 when India faced Pakistan. It was later renamed in 2009 as Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in memory of the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
In 2015, the ground was awarded Test match status. The first-ever Test here was played in November 2016 between India and England.
The Vizag stadium has also been used for IPL matches. It was the home ground for the Delhi Capitals in the 2024 and 2025 seasons. In March 2025, the venue’s name was officially changed back to ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.

The venue saw its first Test in November 2016 when India played against England. The highest Test total at this ground is India’s 502/7d against South Africa in October 2019. The lowest team score belongs to England, who were bowled out for 158 in 2016 in the Test match versus India.
India’s Rohit Sharma has scored the most runs in Tests at this venue. He has amassed 330 runs in just four innings here. This stadium has been a high-scoring venue in ODIs. The biggest total here came in December 2019 when India scored 387/5 against the West Indies. The lowest total in an ODI at this ground is 79, made by New Zealand against India in October 2016.
