Pakistan posted 171 runs for seven wickets in the rain-affected second ODI. West Indies were set a target of 181 runs in 35 overs and they won with more than one over to spare. The middle-order stood up for the home side as they managed to win the second ODI and level the series. Meanwhile, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan's struggles continue in this ODI series. Babar scored a duck while Rizwan scored just 16 runs off 38 balls.

The pitch at the Brian Lara stadum is generally a good one for batting. West Indies posted a challenging total of 280 runs in the first ODI which was chased down by Pakistan. Pakistan then posted 171 runs in 37 overs which was chased down by the Windies with overs to spate. Its generally a flat batting wicket. However, with a forecast of rain, it will be interesting to see if the pitch changes once its affected by rain.
